Depression and Anxiety Affects Us All

Now anxiety isn’t a bad thing. All of us get anxious at some point in our lives.  In fact, a little anxiety can be effective in motivating you to meet a deadline and be more productive.

Likewise, everyone feels a little “blue” once in a while.  Sadness following the loss of a loved one, a failed relationship, or missed opportunity is perfectly normal.

Globally,  350 million people are pinned under the heavy weight of depression, according to the World Health Organization.

Anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias  (a.k.a anxiety disorders),  affect as many as 12% of the population, mostly in the U.S. and Europe, during any given year.

Without question anxiety disorder and depression brings along with them plenty of confusion, frustration, and pain.
